Dress shirt on,
Dress pants on,
Tie on,
Vest on,
Suit jacket on,
Glasses ;)
I then headed over to the Edmonds and we drove over to the Riegg's house and rode with them down to Salem for Teenpact graduation day. The rest of the day was spent filming Teenpact from every angle possible. The result? 24GB of footage. Fun to film, not so fun to load onto your computer.
Quick humorous story: I walked to the capitol building to get to the cafeteria to get some lunch, went up to an entrance, and pulled on the door. It was locked, and there was a sign saying "Public use other door." I turned around, and started walking away, and a security guard standing outside said "Hey, you need to get in?" I nodded, and he swiped his card and opened the door and said, "You look like you belong here anyway"
It's amazing what a suit, tie, and glasses can do :) So now I've been mistaken as a Senator, lawyer, and a lobbyist. Booya ;)
It was good to see some friends there though. Joe Radcliffe, Jimmy Brazell, Brianna Walden, to name a few. I'm hoping to see them all at some Teenpact alumni event :) We'll see.
We said goodbye to everyone, and drove back to the Riegg's house. The guys walked down to Thriftway and we bought some ice-cream cones, then we sat in on a debate theory discussion with Mr. Pipes and Chris. Some interesting things were said, good things to ponder. :)
After that, we headed back home, and had dinner (Mexican) and I checked my email till Joel and Kimi came over, and we just spent some time talking.
So now, here I am. Sitting here. Waiting. And wondering :)
Life isn't bad. It's not absolutely fascinating or anything. But not bad :)
Random thought for the day: Funny how when you tell about your own boring day, you can't see anything interesting in it. But when you hear about the day of someone you really care about, every word is incredible, breathtaking :)
