Praise God!

We were so blessed to end the 2010 Rebelution conference tour on an incredible note here in Washington DC. During the altar call following my brother Brett's gospel message, between 150 and 200 people stood to receive salvation.

We do altar calls a little differently. Generally the speaker will ask everyone to bow their heads and close their eyes. But we ask people to do the hard thing. So with every head up, and every eye open, we ask them to stand and proclaim to those around them that "Jesus Christ is Lord!"

Why do we do it this way? Because we don't believe that you should be able to "sneak" into the Kingdom of God. If one isn't willing to stand and acknowledge Jesus in a room full of believers that will be supportive, how are they to stand out in the world where people will mock and laugh at them? And the second reason we do this is because the Bible tells us that it pleases Him when we acknowledge Him before men (Matt 10:32).

Thank you God for using this conference to bring more precious children into your family.
